African football is set to receive a major boost as African Super League is set to take the continent by storm.

After series of meetings and the most recent one in Cameroon during the African Cup of Nations, the African Super League is set to go ahead starting from next season.
With the commencement of the tourney it’s going to replace the native African Champions League which was dominated by Al Ahly of Egypt.
The tournament will go on with the support of FIFA, and it’s expected to ranked among the top ten football leagues in the world.
With over 100 million dollars and pledge of funds from the FIFA president Africa football is set to be on the map.
