The new Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season has been confirmed to kick off on December 6, 2020, with the fixtures, also made available.

Four times NPFL champions, Kano Pillars will begin their season with a trip away to Adamawa United who was promoted to the league last season.

Despite preparing for the 2020/2021 season, the Sai Masu Gida were given terrible news after one of their youngsters, Ibrahim Hassan was attacked by Boko Haram terrorist on his way to Maiduguri.

The youngster nicknamed Messi is playing for the Kano Pillars Jnr side and is a product of Ahmed Yusuf Fresh Foundation.

Aside from the upcoming NPFL season, Kano Pillars will begin to quest to win continental glory with a clash with Senegalese side, ASC Jaraaf coming next month.
