The much-anticipated pre-season game for Nigerian football clubs, is set to take stage, from 12th of October to the 21st of October.

This edition will comprise teams from both NPFL and NNL.
All teams will be hosted in Ijebu Ode, and fixtures for the third edition has been released.
The organiser claimed that 16 teams will participate in this edition.
Ten teams from the NPFL and six from the NNL will be available for the tournament.

Former champions of this tournament, Shooting Stars gain promotion back to NPFL, and Rivers United earn CAF Champions League slot.
Leading sport betting company Bet9ja alongside with ValueJet were the headline sponsor for this edition.

The Cup champions, Shooting Stars, sealed an NPFL ticket while Rivers United finished with a CAF Champions League ticket.
