Crystal Palace player gives his honest opinion about the just concluded premier league season.
Townsend grant talkSPORT an interview, picking Burnley’s shot stopper Nick Pope ahead of Manchester city.

He also claims that Arsenal made a wrong choice in signing David Luiz ahead of Cahill.

Nick has been a fantastic player for Burnley this season just one clean sheets away (15) to equal Manchester city goal keeper, (16).
Incase you missed it United desperately wants Sancho at old Trafford
“He got 15 clean sheets for Burnley, a club that are obviously more likely to get shots against them, so to get 15 clean sheets is incredible.
“My back-four is Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Virgil van Dijk, and then I’ve gone for Gary Cahill.
“The reason being he was a free transfer, he was written off in his last year at Chelsea and nobody really wanted to take a chance on him.
“But for us, he’s been incredible this season.”
