Enyimba FC coach has warn his Enyimba Squad to be warry of the Shark.
Both teams will clash for the first time in the competition, Enyimba were looking for a chance in the CAF confederations Cup group stage, after failing to qualify for the Champions league.
“We have to expect anything, they can throw anything at us. They must have been looking at our matches and that could influence a situation where there will be change of tactics, formation and other things.
“Everybody wants to be smart because ultimately, the result is what we are looking for. We will be looking at the way they are going to be throwing their dice.”
“We have to look at the quality of their coach also. Coach Eguma is one of the best you can think of. He has been there for ages so he has wealth and wealth of experience and you have to really respect that man; coming against him, I think that’s the only way you can stand little chance. He has been there for a long time and he must have imparted a lot in that team.
Enyimba have won their last four matches in the Nigeria Professional Football League, a form that has shut them to the top of the standings. Asked if his team’s form on the domestic front will count for much in the Confederation Cup fixture, Osho said:
“It’s a good thing for us, (but) we shouldn’t forget the fact that the Rivers United team we are playing had something similar to that for some time and you can see the way they were going in the NPFL. Even at the continent they’ve been doing tremendously.”
