Finidi George makes Enyimba statement as fans worried about his Enyimba deal

The new People’s elephant manager Finidi George, has retreated that it doesn’t bother about what people are saying about him and his appointment as the new head coach of Enyimba.

Soccerhub recall, the Aba giant made a bold step, in bringing in former la Liga player and Ex super Eagles star.

However as reported in the media some set of fans were not happy with the deal.

Finidi speaking with brila FM however claim was not moved but what others people said about him.

He claims he’s in Enyimba to work.

“All I know is that I have been given a free hand to succeed at Enyimba and I’m ready to prove my worth as a coach.

“My desire is to continue to perform well with Enyimba by breaking every barrier, winning all my matches, and succeed with the club,” he said.

The day was a great one for the manager but look dicey the team, especially with the pedigree Enyimba had in recent years.

Arguably they are biggest club in Nigeria and one of the biggest team in Africa. With two caf Champions League in their cabin.

They’ve set a high standard and the expectations were high.

Finidi’s first task with Enyimba, is to qualify to the group stage of the caf confederations Cup.

On the other end, the team’s captain (Austin Oladapo) ban has been reduced to 6 months.

And this is a minor boost for the Finidi.

Oladipo was tested positive to doping, which he and the team claimed it was a false accusations.
