Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele has revealed the team want to lift the CAF confederations Cup tittle.
Orlando Pirates will welcome Enyimba FC 5pm local time in Nigeria for the third time, the previous two meetings were in the CAF champions league back in 2006, with Pirates having the better H2H of the encounter.
In the build-up to this encounter Pirates drew their opening match anyway currently third on the log.
They defeat Enyimba in their last trip to Soweto and a win here will complete the double over people’s Elephant.
“I see a lot of potential in this team that we have. The way we play, the effort that we put in on the field, [it’s amazing]. We work for one another and it’s possible we can reach [the final again] and get the cup as well. We’ve got a good squad,” said Jele in a virtual media conference.
Captain Jele, is looking ahead of this encounter with Enyimba, setting the target by winning this competition
“We’re looking forward to make history. For me, this competition is very important for the team. Orlando Pirates is a big brand and that means we must always compete at the higher level. We’re motivated and we want to get the result against Enyimba.”
The match will kick-off 5 p.m. local time in Nigeria and 6 p.m. local time in South Africa.
