Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho claimed he’s not pressured to deliver at Leicester City.

Despite finishing as Leicester City’s top goal scorer last season, Iheanacho is yet to start a Premier League game.

He was given a good chance half of last season when Barnes got injured.

He went on to involved in more than 17 goals for the Foxes, above the club legend Vardy.

Speaking to BBC, Iheanacho claims he’s not concerned if he hasn’t scores yet

“Of course I had a pretty good season at the end of last season, but honestly I am not bothered [about] what’s going on,” Iheanacho told BBC Sport Africa.

“Now we have new players come in and we have a big squad. We need everybody to win trophies and games.”

Leicester City boost their squad during the summer transfer window with the likes of Paston Daka joining from RB.

He only play 67mins 360 regularly premier league minutes so far this season.

It’s going to be an important season and we have so many games and different competitions as well,” added Iheanacho, 24.

“There are other players on the bench in the same circumstances. I know that everyone will be needed and be important to the squad.

“But whenever I get my chance to play or start, I will just do my job and help the team to succeed. We have a lot of games and everyone will be involved.”

Next stop for Kelechi Iheanacho is Europa game against his country man Victor Osimhen’s Napoli on Thursday before playing Brighton on weekend.
