Mikel Arteta took his social media handle to send a shocking message to Arsenal fans

Dear Gunners,

First of all I would like to apologize for our recent bad run of form in the Premier League. Things hasn’t been easy for the club this year.

Rodgers happy with Ndidi performance in 2-0 lost to Everton

Our main priority as always will be to win and keep you, our loyal fans happy. The team is in a bad spot right now but I can promise you that every single player gives his best, to improve and to get results. We will never stop giving our best to this great club.

As for myself, I know there are rumors that I should leave Arsenal. If the club board comes to that decision, then I’m ready to depart, but my love for Arsenal and to the club fans will never die. As long as I keep my position as the head coach, I will never stop trying to get this club back to where it belongs—at the top.

We currently have a great set of players whom I believe can do wonders with the club. So please back me, back the players and the club. Trust my process, it takes time but I PROMISE, this bad run of games will not last longer.

We are Arsenal and we will be back. Trust in me. Trust in the players and we’ll deliver. COME ON YOU GUNNERS!

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Your manager, Mikel Arteta.
