Nigeria forward, Ndifreke Effiong has returned to Akwa United Fc after the expiration of his contract with Libyan side Al Ahly Benghazi at the end of the 2020/21 season.

The prolific forward scored six goals in 9 appearances for the Libyan side since joining from Akwa United.

He left the NPFL champions during the just concluded season break.

After a bright start to the NPFL season, scoring 8 goals, joint top scorer with Sunshine Stars talisman Sadiq Yussuf, before joining the Lybian club in an undisclosed fee.

The deal seem to look like a loan move away from Akwa United.

He’s will be available for selection in next season
