The Super Eagles are set for the second game in their world cup qualifying series.

After a decent outing against Liberia in Lagos, the super eagles goal keeper is optimistic, about the second game against cape Verde.
Okoye was in goal, against Liberia at National Surulere in Lagos State on Friday.
Speaking about the win Okoye express his excitement, and also keeping clean sheet.
“It was important to start the qualifiers with a win, especially under difficult conditions.” Okoye told reporters.
“We played well and I’m happy with clean sheet as well, because with a clean sheet, you are already know a point a saved. ”
Meanwhile, he’s also confident of getting the result at Cape Verde despite playing on Artificial turf.
“Against Cape Verde, It’s going to be a very good game against a very good opponents. We know the situation with the synthetic pitch. We will prepare well for them and hopefully do well as a team. ” He said.
